We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming…

Dear Internet I’m ’stealing’ from one/a few of my neighbors — I appreciate you, especially your freeness, your lack of password protection, and your convenience (as well as your cutesy little names — like Ethiopia [’cause I live in a largely East African neigborhood] and Trouble) . But Jeez-Louise, you’re slow! It’s taken me 36 hours of waiting, and you still won’t show the pictures I uploaded yesterday morning to flickr. You’re cramping my blogging style! Please, please eat some wheaties and speed up, or I might have to actually pay for my internet!
Affectionately yours,
Jennie
[Hopefully this problem will resolve itself soon, ’cause I have a few FOs for you and a beautiful new kitchen to reveal!]
You get what you pay for?
lmao
We got ‘free’ internet from our grandparents’ neighbors when we were visiting them last year. As long as we sat on the porch it was fine… we did wonder if anyone would notice that we were always on the porch with the laptop, and never without it though. lol it was slow too, and my brother kept joking about going around asking the neighbors to please upgrade their service.
hope it speeds up soon!
